A Chinese ivory rectangular plaque
carved with a woman and two attendants in a courtyard above a kneeling man pointing to an interior with another standing figure, all below two windows depicting a seated figure at a table and a standing lady, the building among pine and maple among pierced rockwork below clouds, within a geometric border, the reverse with a five line inscription, set within a lacquered wood frame -- 11.in (29.2cm) high overall, 17th/18th Century, (wear, age cracks).
