A Chinese cinnabar lacquer flattened oviform snuff bottle and stopper
carved in relief to one side with a lady seated in a fenced garden before a pavilion, the reverse with a further lady beside rockwork and plantain, all on a ground of scrolling flowers and leaves, gilt metal mounts -- 3in. (8.2cm.) high, incised Qianlong four-character mark and of the period, fitted box.
