A Ming silver and gold-inlaid bronze archaic-form vessel and cover
with pierced handle in the form of an elongated feline, above a mythical bird's head spout and three feet modelled as similar birds on the backs of standing bears, the cover rima and body decorated with bands of scrolling motifs alternating with wider running bands of geometric designs -- 8.in (21.5cm) wide, 16th/17th Century, (old wear).
