A Chinese rhinoceros horn libation cup
carved to the exterior with The Eight Horses of Muwang and two attendants in a rocky landscape above a meandering river among pine and maple trees, the gnarled branches forming the handle and extending to the interior of the cup, the colour of even honey tone -- 7.in (17.8cm) wide, 17th/18th Century, (small chips to top of handle).
