with quatrefoil ink well, painted to the exterior with lozenge and circular panels of Arabic inscription on grounds of stylised scrolling foliage -- 9in. x 5in. (24cms x 13.5cms), Zhengde Period, (cover missing, couple of rim chips and fritting).
