A are 13th-Century French town weight,
from Toulouse, made of copper alloy, monetiform, the obverse showing a castle with three towers and the inscription MEIA LIVR.....OLOZA (MEIA LIVRA DE TOLOZA), the reverse showing a church with a cross on its tower and the inscription AD:M:CC:XXX:VIIII: (1239) -- 2.1/8in. (5.35cm.) diameter, in square leather case with sliding draw, the underside stamped AU DPART 29 AVENUE DE L'OPRA PARIS.
