signed on the horseshoe stand Negretti & Zambra London, with rack and pinion focusing, fine adjustment, prism, the body-tube located on an arm, the limb with triangular-section vertical adjustment rack, the mechanical stage with sub-stage condenser, the lower limb with plano-concave mirror, with four eyepieces, polariser, objectives, bull's-eye condenser and other items, including slides in drawer with ivory pull, in mahogany carrying case with brass swing handle -- 15in. (39.4cm.) high
