A 1/8 scale exhibition standard model of a Crossley open crank gas engine
built by K.C. Gray circa 1914 and overhauled by A. Walshaw, with water cooled cylinder 1in. bore x 2.1/8in. stroke, frame incorporated main bearings with wick type oil boxes, curved spoked flywheel, belt and starter pulleys, gear driven camshaft with three ram mechanical lubricator, cam and rocker operated inlet and exhaust valves, dummy magneto, make and break, hot tube and spark ignition systems, gear driven governor and linkage that varies inlet valve opening, underfloor mounted air cleaner, gas flow regulator, pipework and main stop valve, the separate cylinder head stamped 92802 finished in green with red lining and polished brightwork, red and white simulated tiled bed with coil and pipework under -- 19 x 28in. (49.5 x 71.2cm.) Display base and plexiglass cover
