A finely engineered exhibition standard 5in. gauge model of the Westmount Railway Baltic 4-6-4 side tank locomotive No.1944 'Sir Arthur Pole'
designed and built by C.R. Fox between 1944 and 1955 with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, steam brake, shifting and clack valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, cab controlled cylinder drains, fluted motion, one displacement and two mechanical lubricators, twin eccentric driven feed pumps, steam and vaccuum operated brake gear, injector, tank balance pipes, coupled axle box, oil boxes and pipes, riveting, tool box, tank vents and lifting eyes, steps, hand and lamp irons and many other fine details, finely finished in green and black with black and yellow lining and applied coat of arms -- 50 x 14in.
