A well engineered 5in. gauge model of the M.R. Johnson 'Spinner' 4-2-2 locomotive and tender No.2601 'Princess of Wales'
built by E. Lofthouse with brazed superheated copper boiler by Swindon Boilers serail no. 23895 with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, whistle, twin injector, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders with Stephenson's link reverse, cab controlled draincock, mechanical lubricator, two injectors, steam operated brake gear, sanding boxes and pipework, whistle, fine pipework, dummy Salter springs and other details. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, water cocks, tool boxes and tools, hand feed pump, fitter, float level gauge, steps, hands and lamp irons, finished in maroon with brass letters and numbers -- 14 x 59in. (36.8 x 150cm.) Boiler certificate dated 26.2.1993
