Notes on ff.1r and 194r. record the public reading of this manuscript in sessions, the last of which took place in Alexandria on Monday 11 Dhu'l Qa'da 629. The scribe himself read the text aloud in the presence of the professor Muhammad b. Ibrahim 'Abd al-Rahman b.Muhammad al-Ansari al-Tilimsani.
