A 3-inch (7.6cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial globe made up of two sets of twelve coloured printed paper gores, the equator graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days and showing symbols for the houses of the Zodiac, the continents with nation states coloured in green and yellow and showing rivers, deserts, towns and cities (paper loss to northern Asia, various old abrasions and discolourations) hol at South Pole for stand (missing), the sphere comin apart at the equator to put a reel of cotton inside, the thread emerging at the North Pole through an nivorine ring
