unsigned, at the centre a 2-inch (5cm.) diameter sunball, the Arctic and Antarctic circles and Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn with names engraved on the bands, the Zodiac band engraved with names of the houses of the Zodiac, the equatorial band engraved with degrees and labelled in Roman numerals every 30, th ehour dial with pointer and engravings in Roman numerals for 6, 12, 18 and 24 hours, the meridian circle divided in four quadrants and labelled in Roman numerals every 10, the horizon ring graduated in degrees and showing names for the Houses of the Zodiac with the dates of the cusps in Roman numerals, raised on four quadrant supports to turned pillar atop four scrolled barckets and cruciform base with central windrose showing eight compass points -- 20in.
