Woodward, LONDON [c.1840], the equator graduated in degrees and hours, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac with symbols, the oceans with an analemma and showing the tracks Cook, Vancouver, Biscoe and others with numerous dates and notes such as Manuel Rodriguez Rk according to Anson, Wakes Ledge nearly even with water's edge, Campbells 1810 uninhabited and others, the continents with much detail and national boundaries shown in dotted outline, the South Polar calotte almost blank save six small notes, one of the sheets additionally printed with SOMALVICO & Co. three times (slight staining to one gore); a set of twelve uncoloured engraved gores on one sheet for a [?]2-inch (7cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial globe WOODWARD'S TERRESTRIAL GLOBE [c.1835], the equator and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days and showing symbols for the houses of the Zodiac, the continents with national boundaries shown in dotted outline, with rivers, mountains towns and cities; a set of twelve uncoloured engraved gores on one sheet for a [?]2in. (7cm.) diameter celestial globe, unsigned, the equinoctial graduated in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days but unlabelled, the constellations depicted by mythical beasts and figures and scientific instruments and named in Latin; and a set of twelve uncoloured engraved gores on one sheet for a [?]5-inch (12.7cm.) diameter celestial globe BALE'S NEW Celestial GLOBE 1845, the equinoctial graduated in degrees and hours, the ecliptic graduated in days, the equinoctial and solistitial colures graduated in degrees, the constellations depicted by mythical beasts and figures and scientific instruments with stars to five orders of magnitude (some small spotting)
