A 13-inch (33cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve colour printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equator and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans showing steamship routes, cable lines and ocean currents, the continents with nation states variously coloured, showing physiacl and political details such as cities, railways, rivers, mountains and other details (some surface marks) with brass meridian circle divided in four quadrants, the papered horizon (hand-coloured copy) graduated in degrees in two directions and days of the month and of the houses of the Zodiac, with names for both and additional pictures for the latter, raised on four turned and fluted fruitwood legs with bunfeet, united by cross stretchers to central plinth base -- 19in. 48.2cm.) high
