A 12-inch (31.8cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve colour printed paper gores and two polar calottes with text in [?]Swedish, the equator and anti-meridian graduated in degrees, no ecliptic shown, the oceans showing warm and cold ocean currents, various steamship routes with journey time in days and ports of arrival and departure, and cable lines, the continents with nation states outlined in various colours and showing railways, mountains, rivers, the Great Wall of China and other details (some marks and discolourations) with stamped brass meridian circle and horizon ring, both divided in four quadrants, raised on four quadrant supports atop a cast figure of Atlas kneeling, on circular stone base -- 24in. (62.3cm.) high
