The top with a burr-walnut veneered central panel and bordered with ribbon-tied floral swags with garlands with oval classical figures, the frieze carved with husks and acanthus scrolls with a part-fitted central drawer with tablet with bouncing cupids, flanked by a hinged compartment to either side, between oval patera above foliate-headed reeded tapering legs joined by shaped stretchers, centred by a foliate boss and terminating in foliate feet, the satinwood with a crackled finish
