A late George III mahogany and marquetry pedestal sideboard
Crossbanded in kingwood and tulipwood and inlaid with lines, the central bowed section fitted with two drawers with re-entrant panels centred by a winged mask flanked by pedestals with cavetto friezes and a deep cellarette fitted drawer and cupboard to either side, the lower parts enclosed by panel doors with inlaid neo classical urns, on square tapered feet, the top of the frieze drawer stamped T. Willson, Great Queen Street, London

The impressed mark T.Willson, 68, Great Queen Street, London has been found stamped on some late 18th and early 19th century furniture. Also 1829 Thomas Willson, Furniture Appraiser and Broker 68, Great Queen Street, a sideboard of Sheraton period in dining room at Warlington Northumbria.
