A Chinese buff pottery model of a saddled horse
the beast standing four square on a rectangular base, facing straight forward with its head slightly lowered, traces of red pigment remaining -- 11in. (27.9cm.) high; and a further saddled horse, standing four square on a rectangular base with its head slightly raised, traces of black pigment -- 9in. (24cm.) high, Tang Dynasty, (some restoration and old wear).
