An unusual needlework picture embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads with raised work details, with a central fountain with cascading water, with three horizontal bands, the upper two with buildings and various fruit trees, the lower band with ships and boats with five whales--25 x 25in. (64 x 63cm.), probably 17th century, framed and glazed, restorations, wear and damage
