in the Persian style, with a waisted neck, pierced scroll handles and a square base with canted corners, decorated with raised gilt blooms on a pale-yellow ground within flowerhead-shaped panels between claret-ground bands gilt with bands of flowers, shapr 293, iron-red mark and year cypher for 1890 (cover deficient) -- 41cm. high See colour plate 5
