A Minton pte-sur-pte moon flask and stand
with pierced scroll handles, decorated by Alboine Birks with three winged putto holding doves on a chocolate-brown ground monogrammed, within a roundel gilt with a meandering band of berries, on a plain ground gilt with a oeil-de-perdrix pattern, the reverse with a lesser panel of trophies, on a richly gilt pierced chinoiserie stand, gilt globe mark and impressed mark to stand, year cypher for 1884 (cover deficient, some restoration to the top of the stand) -- 33.2cm. high
