A Coalport pink-ground 'jewelled' cabinet cup and saucer
of lobed tapering form, with a strap handle, applied with graduated turquoise 'jewels' on a gilt ground below a pink ground section with beaded gilt scrolls and flowerheads, the centres enamelled to simulate semi-precious stones, pattern Y1425, circa 1900 (minor rim chip to saucer and light rubbing)
