LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, TURKISH
one worked on an ivory satin ground, the other on a tobacco coloured ground
22 in. x 48 in. (56 cm. x 122 cm.) and 22 in. x 76 in. (56 cm. x 193 cm.)
and four joined panels of crimson satin lampas woven with chinoiserie figures
and another woven textile, probably 1920's/1930's (7)

The figures are after a print by Alexis Peyrotte which formed part of the "Suite des Nouveaux Cartouches Chinois" published in circa 1740-5.
