The case modelled as a tambourine, held by a rod across the shoulder of a dancing classical maiden with castanets in her hands, the oval base with jug and goblet mounts to the top and flowering basket relief mount to the front, on four toupie feet (one detached), with later white enamel Arabic dial, later hands, the watch movement with lever escapement
