The rectangular top with incurving ends decorated with a central urn issuing scrolling foliage within a ribbon and vine entrelac border edged with egg-and-dart, the anthemion and vine decorated frieze over a pair of doors centering oval medallions painted on copper depicting classical scenes of courtship within a beaded frame and a rectangular surround headed by thryses hung with ribbon-tied laurel swags and pendant portrait medallions, the incurving sides each with two shelves, with tongue-and-groove molding throughout, on tapering fluted legs and square feet, panel behind left painted medallion inscribed in pencil 'Top Order/This Cabinet is/Painted by Joseph Enthoven/1876'
