of melon fluted form with a flared rim, chased with floral shells, resting on ornate shell feet, the cover with a flower finial, inscribed on one side "presented with several other articles of plate and a purse of two hundred guineas to the Rev'd Fletcher Blakely A.M. by many friends of civil and religious liberty in Dublin, Belfast and various parts of Ulster as a tribute of respect for his character and a cordial approbation of his perservering eloquant and successful advocacy of the rights of conscience and human freedom, A.D.1836", by an unascribed maker I.N., Dublin, 1834, 29oz.
