A fine changeable cylinder musical box by P.V.F.,
No. 7267, with eight cylinders playing six airs each, Sublime Harmony combs, ten differently engraved bells with bird finials and polychrome enamelled bee strikers, drum, castanet and zither attachment, massive single-spring motor with vertical crank wind, mirror behind bells, 1874 & 1875 Sublime Harmonie Patents plaque, silver-plated control panel, loose tune-sheet (repaired and mounted on board) and ebony-banded thuya-veneered case on matching table with two cylinder storage drawers with sliding racks and ebonised cabriole legs with foliate-carved knees and thuya cabochon in a cartouche, inlaid thuya stems and castors -- 51in. (130cm.) wide, the cylinders 16in. (41cm.), circa 1878 (some percussion teeth disconnected)
