Superbly carved and polished in the form of a large semi-recumbent ram with two smaller rams climbing to its back, one cleverly using the darker inclusion in the stone, the stone softly polished in the Imperial manner, the underside with finely detailed feet and legs

Ram (yang) is homophonous with yang (the long lines of the trigrams), and three rams (sanyang) is homophonous with the trigram with three long strokes, which stands for 'spring'.
