A check dated March 10, 1971, two days after Ali fought Joe Frazier, representing a partial payment by promoter Robert Arum to Ali in the amount of $348,535.67. Ali and Frazier each received $2,500,000 for this fight. The first amount was Ali's tax due to New York City for his fight revenues earned two days earlier. Ali endorsed the back of the check in ink. There is a small hole in the upper left hand corner. Excellent condition.
