A SANTO DOMINGO POLYCHROME JAR
With small slightly indented cylindrical base, with flaring sides and rounded shoulder tapering to the neck and slightly flaring rim, painted in black on a cream slip, decorated with a wide band composed of two thin bands below and above enclosing two bird figures with oval wings, tail feathers with hatching and torso enclosing geometric elements, birds alternating with foliate motifs, rim black, a section toward base and in the interior painted red, signed on the base "Santana Melchor"
