The first Pomo, a singlerod gift basket, of ovular form with rounded sides tapering inward toward the rim, finely woven in sedge and bullrush, decorated with two bands of linked triangular motifs accented with hooked designs, the second a Maidu, with small flat base and rounded sides, woven in willow and redbud, decorated with a terraced zig zag band toward base surmounted by inverted triangular elements radiating from the rim
