MUHAMMAD ALI RELIGIOUS SPEECH
A rare three-page speech handwritten by Muhammad Ali in the 1980s. In the speech he clearly states his religious beliefs, writing ...whatever a person does he or she will have to answer for it before his or her Lord. On the subject of death, he says Death on Earth is not the end of life, but the beginning of another, an eternal and a far higher life. So this life on Earth is only a preparation for the eternal home to which we are going. About Resurrection Day: ...all the human beings ... will be presented before ALLAH (God) and ...the entire record of their good and evil deeds will be presented before God, for final judgement. The speech is signed in black ink by Ali on the first page and was later inscribed to Peter Paul, the President of the California Bicentennial Foundation. In excellent condition with punch holes which do not affect the text. (3)
