A CORE-FORMED GLASS OENOCHOE
eastern mediterranean, possibly from rhodes
circa late 6th-5th century b.c.
Opaque white in color, the top-shaped body on an outsplayed foot, convex below, with rounded shoulders, a short cylindrical neck and trefoil mouth, with purple marvered thread wound spirally on the body, tooled into a zig-zag pattern on the middle of the body, with two purple marvered threads wound horizontally below, with purple thread on the edge of the mouth and foot, and an opaque white handle extending from the shoulder to the rim
