Cast monochrome glass pyxides are extremely rare. For another example said to be from Cumae, formerly in the Sangiorgi Collection, see no. 293 in Goldstein, Pre-Roman and Early Roman Glass in The Corning Museum of Glass. At the time of publication of the Corning catalog, their example was thought to be one of only three examples known.
