Decorated in polychrome over gesso, with a gilt face, wearing a tripartite headcloth, the top adorned with a winged scarab pushing a solar-disk and the vulture goddess on the top, the left lappet with Osiris enthroned, the right lappet with the deceased, the spaces to the left and right of the lappets filled with figures of Anubis seated in profile, a scene above the right ear of the deceased being led by Anubis, the panel behind the left ear depicting the so-called "baptism" of the deceased by Horus and Thoth, the back central panel with two opposing uraei wearing the crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt
