(Some dampstaining to plates, lacks half-titles, some occasional spotting and light browning to text, a few corners torn off, not affecting text). Contemporary tree calf, spine gilt, black and citron lettering pieces, front covers each with small red morocco medallion inset tooled in gilt with floral device (corners and joints rubbed, a few very small scratches to covers). Provenance: Verrier (small library label on title-page and final leaf of each volume); "No. 2069" lettered on each title-page, and "Voyez la Dpche du Ministre du 25 janvier 1820" noted on title of Vol. I in brown ink.
