Contemporary tree calf, spine gilt, black and citron lettering pieces, front covers each with small red morocco medallion inset tooled in gilt with floral device (corners and joints rubbed, a few very small scratches to covers). Provenance: Verrier (small library label on title-page and final leaf of each volume); "No. 2069" lettered on each title-page, and "Voyez la Dpche du Ministre du 25 janvier 1820" noted on title of Vol. I in brown ink.
