STEIGLITZ, ALFRED. Autograph letter signed to Grace Titus. [New York], 19 December 1933. 2 pages, 8vo, with original envelope in Stieglitz's hand. The master photographer writes that..."complete sets of Camera Work are very scarce and priceless. There are no reproductions...they might be called originals". Stieglitz discusses at length the production of his famous periodical, Camera Work. He notes that he personally inserted the plates after printing as copies were ordered and that over time most of the plates were destroyed or lost.
