The globular body rising to a cylindrical waist and flaring lip, covered in an attractive coral glaze and delicately highlighted in gilt with peony, ribbon-tied emblems and foliate scroll; together with a small white dish, the exterior delicately painted with confronting dragons and falming pearls in pale blue, six-character Daoguang mark in underglaze blue and within a double circle, and a small famille rose bowl, the exterior enamelled with a phoenix, bamboo and flowering peony, the interior with bamboo nodes, six-character Guangxu mark in iron-red
