4o (200 x 150 mm). 153 leaves, old Hebrew foliation (often cropped). Brown ink. Oriental semi-cursive script. (Many leaves frayed at the bottom, some holes, with loss of text, all defects recently restored skilfully, browning and staining.) Modern blind and gold-tooled brown morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front.

The author is probably the most important predecessor of Isaac Luria.
