VITAL, Hayyim (Safed; 1542-1620). Sefer Adam Yashar. MANUSCRIPT ON PAPER
Amsterdam, [18th century]
2o (310 x 180 mm). 32 leaves, incomplete. Brown ink. Ashkenazic semi-cursive script. (Slightly stained, cropped with loss of part of some catchwords and running titles, no main text missing, a few minor modern repairs in the first three leaves, with loss of single letters, probably the date of production and original owner's name crossed out by a later owner.) Modern blind and gold-tooled brown morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front, one additional old flyleaf at the front.

Fol. 1r: title; 1v: blank; 2r-32r: text; 32v: blank.
Includes only the beginning to the end of Derushei ha-Olamot (fol. 35v in the first 1863 Cracow edition), followed by an extract from the middle of Derush Mirkevet Yechezkel, chapter 13 (fols. 47v-48v in the edition). Over 30 manuscripts of this work are extant.
