Maker's mark of S. Kirk & Son, 11oz.; the smaller circa 1880-1890
Each inverted long ovoid, on spreading circular base, the sides chased with architecture in landscapes, the base and broad border chased with continuous flowering foliage on finely matted ground, taller pitcher engraved with crest, with ram's mask applied angular handle--13in. (33cm.) high; the other monogrammed, with scroll handle--9in. (22.8cm.) high, 36oz. (2)
