Slightly spreading and bowed oval, on reeded rim foot, two sides with oval wrigglework enclosed cartouche, one with crest, the other monogrammed, with flowering foliate band above on reeded ground, with wood loop handle, swan's neck spout, the hinged rising cover topped by stained green ivory pineapple finial, the oval stand on four fluted tapering supports, the teapot--8in. (20.3cm.) high, gross weight 21oz.
