In a recent interview with Neville Marten for Guitarist Lee Dickson recalled "...that blonde [Gibson ES-335TD] does have a nice piece of history of its own: the wonderful Clarence 'Gatemouth' Brown needed a guitar one night and I asked which one he'd like and he said, 'How 'bout one of them hollowbodies'. So I said 'Would this 1959 blonde dot-neck 335 do?'
