Serial No. A25630, Factory Order No. V7371 1, in sunburst finish, maple body with round cutaway, spruce top with f-holes, maple neck, twenty-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays, headstock face with crown inlay, wooden bridge, metal tailpiece and black pickguard; and a brown hardshell contour case with pink plush lining and Lee Dickson's handwritten tie-on label Gibson Super 300c '57 Sunburst AC SerA.25630 and paper adhesive label similarly inscribed

The cutaway version of the Super 300 was introduced in 1954.

Eric Clapton said that he found this guitar "..More practical to play.." than the Super 400 model.
