RARE WINES FROM THE 1930'S
Property of a Lady
This cache of wine was discovered in the sub-basement of a Pacific Heights, San Francisco mansion in 1972. It is presumed to have been purchased in the late 1940's or early 1950's by the previous owner of the house, who placed the wine in a cold subcellar concealed by a massive stone hatch. The new owners discovered the wine and moved it to a north-facing basement passive cellar which maintains a temperature of about 53 degrees F.
