The cylindrical sides painted with the coat-of-arms of Upton on the front and the war horse and ducal coronet Upton crest on the back, scattered chrysanthemum sprigs on the sides, all between scroll band and spearhead borders and repeated on the cover (small frits around base, minute chip to knop)--4in. (10.1cm.) high
