Several seals of this Apellarib are known, including some in the museum at Tarsus. Apellarib, or Apnelgaripes (the form of the name distinguishing him from Apellarib Arsakides, see lot 113), has been identified as the Apellarib Arcruni, son of Hasan, of a family closely allied with Senacherim, prince of Vaspourakan. Apellarib served Michael VII as governor of Cilicia. He died about 1078.
