cover 1841 1d., MJ, enormous margins three sides, a little ragged at left and possibly touching at one place, on entire letter to Waterford dated 1 July 1848, tied by fine light strike of the "105" (Carrick on Suir) Irish numeral in dark green with very fine "WATERFORD" double-arc datestamp in blue alongside; light fold crosses adhesive but does not detract from the fine appearance.
