cover 1844 (31 Jan.) wrapper (filing crease at right) from Manila to Bombay then redirected to London "via Marseilles", the back flap bears a faint yet clear strike of the rare "SINGAPORE/SHIP LETTER/1844 Mar/Bearing" datestamp in black, the flap opens well to display this mark, also Bombay and London transit marks.
